              Organic farming Myths 

   let's start with from Sri Lanka 

             To all those who don't understand that organic farming, natural farming and the importance of chemical fertilizers.

             100-300 years ago when fertilizers were not available. 

 Let's take India's population in 1800's was just 17 crores. Just think what the people to cultivable land ratio was  and even during Independence our population was just in mid 30 crores. 

The Green Revolution happened during the 1960 

The population growth has been exponential only after the push of modern medicine and modern agricultural practices through the use of fertilizers as well. 

Those  people who talk on for(support of) organic farming explain why there  was famine and diseases(causing death is mass) and decrease in agriculture output, organic farming or whatever, agriculture land fertility will reduce as time passes. Imagine the same type of food production happening with 130 crore population. You will understand what this new form of agriculture has done good to the people of India.

 It has made  basic food available for common man (democratization of food) and saved people from starvation, poverty and hunger.

          There are people who claim people lived a healthy life for many years up to 80-100 years with good health, but they won't have the data to back those words , its just a populastic  mindset of people who are a layer above in social status. 

          But the truth is if you look at the data of population from 1500 in India to 1800 and every 10 years after the 1800 to 2020, We can easily see the percentage growth is exponential from 1960 and above.

   ( There is very slow growth in population (by %) from 1800 there is linear raise in growth % of population, till early 1900's and after independence there is a little jump in the % of growth, and it peaks in 1960's exponentially till late early 2000's.)  Image below will help to understand

That's when chemical fertilizers increased and modern scientific based medicine was popularized in India and this explains that the benefit of  organic farming and traditional medicine is less effective then modern agriculture methods and evidence-based modern medicine.

          It is pure stupidity to tell organic farming is the best way because when you  can't feed all the people. What is the use of that system. And I would call it useless.

         People in support of the system will say that just in six months of chemical fertilizers ban in Sri Lanka what good would have happened in the output, so it is not true. It is not the real  fact  or it doesn't prove anything. But the truth is that an official order was issued in Sri Lanka in 2020/21 but the propaganda is being done long before from 2012 in Sri Lanka .Sri Lanka is the best example for unplanned and unscientific approach to agriculture but just run begin populastic believes and emotions and fool people with organic farming myth. This organic farming market is big but that doesn't cause any harm. But people using it to generate fake propoganda for their selfish purpose or political mileage are very dangrous to the society and specially to Tamilnadu.  Be aware of those people and political leaders.
